A baby comes into the world,
And tries to have a cuddle,
To feel the warmth in mother’s arms,
And near her breast to huddle.
As babes they do not understand,
Of love or rhyme and reason,
For every day is much the same,
They don’t worry about seasons.
Then as they grow life has a plan,
Where God is in control,
He places them be girl or man,
To make it as their life unfolds.
As teenage time comes to us all,
It’s then that we understand,
The feelings that we’re going through,
Within the human plan.
Then as a child is fully grown and make their way in life,
A man will take a woman to be his wedded wife,
A woman is more cautious in every kind of way,
And hopes the right one comes along who in her life will stay.
Time passes by you’re getting old,
and the family’s all grown up,
Your partner’s gone and you sit quiet,
In your throat there is a lump.
But then a friend you find yourself,
Who’s precious more than gold,
Who’ll pray with you when you are down,
And slowly getting old.
And then one day we will return,
Back to the father’s care,
We’ve done our years like fire does burn,
Then glorious heaven we do share.
Thank you Lord for our past life,
Your glory reigns forever,
We’ll see you as you really are,
When walking in your heaven.
And tries to have a cuddle,
To feel the warmth in mother’s arms,
And near her breast to huddle.
As babes they do not understand,
Of love or rhyme and reason,
