John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The sea leaps up on the golden sand,
From the prom there’re all bright lights,
It seems like God has lent a hand,
And brightened up the night.

The waves they go in leaps and bounds,
Oh who those billows roll,
The little boats do toss and turn,
To get to harbour is their goal.

But God is in control of every thing that’s done,
He said sea now be calm on the water walked his son,
It makes us stop and think how we are tossed and turned,
Upon the cruel sea of life to be of it we yearn.

Yet like the sea with its ups and downs,
And waves that lash here and there,
Our lives can be disorganised,
Then we find someone who cares.

Then all at once the sea is calm,
The winds they blow no more,
For peace has settled on the shore,
And God holds nature in his palm.

So when you feel confused,
And battered, worn and torn,
Think of how the sand must feel,
After there has been a storm.
