John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

My friend she washed a sausage after it had been cooking,
Perhaps she tried to make it better looking,
She said I’ve got some egg white on it I don’t want that on there,
So I washed it ‘neath the tap I’ve got one here to spare.

That’s alright dear friend I can’t eat soap and water,
This is something I’ll have to tell my daughter,                                                                                    The water it was nice and clean don’t you be so potty,
Well I couldn’t eat for laughter I thought she was going dotty.

I know we can do silly things when we are cooking food,
Like put a chicken in the oven and leave the giblets in,
Put on the toast and forget it’s there.
It’s burnt, you have to grin.

All mistakes made in the kitchen simple yet unexplained,
Our brains seems to leave us, goes on another plain,
But washing a sausage must be the in thing,
If she squeezed out the water what would it bring.

All messy snd gooey meat on her hands,
Some people might say I’m so annoyed,
But not my dear friend she said,
I’ve enjoyed washing my sausage, before it went on the plate.

So the next time we sit down,
To have a meal,
I’ll check it first,
To see if it’s real.
