John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Sinning Sal espied the Lord,
And she tried to make him bad,
She wanted him to steal some things,
Like necklaces and diamond things.

The voice he heard seemed quite absurd,
That’s one thing I wont do,
I’m straight and honest down the line,
To God I will be true
But as he walked around the store,
This voice it nagged him more and more,
He felt he had a heavy weight,
Upon his heart what was his fate.

A necklace small wont hurt at all,
Said Sally Sin to him,
It’s fun to do the naughty things,
So hurry up and get some rings.

Your voice I hear so loud and clear,
Why don’t you go away,
Get lost, leave me alone,
I am the Lord today.

Sally Sin she wouldn’t give in,
She really was a pest,
She nagged and nagged his brain went pop,
He had to run out of the shop.

He made his way into the park,
To find some peace and quiet,
And then he heard the voice again,
Just as it began to spit and rain.

Oh no you don’t I’ve made my stand,                                                                                                       I’m under God’s almighty hand,
He went down on his knees in prayer,
And so he saved another day.
