Helen’s now departed,
He pain and misery gone,
She went to be with Jesus,
Who came to take her home.
Her way of life was simple,
The Lord had got it planned,
That one day she would be in heaven,
Being held up by God’s hand.
A smile was always on her lips,
A kindly word was spoken,
Her sense of humour was so strong,
And couldn’t be unbroken.
We miss her sitting in the front,
With all her dearest friends,
Cissy was her greatest one,
Whose love for her had shone.
The Lord decided no more pain,
He felt she’d had enough,
And so he gave her wondrous praise,
And to the body gave release.
Heaven’s going to benefit,
From Helen’s sense of humour,
The angels wings will flap more,
As she sprays her perfumes.
She’ll sit upon a cloud,
And look down on the club, And see the Holy Spirit descending,
Upon us as a dove.
So keep on shining Helen,
We’ll meet again one day,
Up there in God’s own heaven,
Then we can run and play.
He pain and misery gone,
