Brian Hewitt’s preaching he’s really quite a lad,
He’s got a lovely family of which he’s very glad,
He has two lovely daughters and has two sons as well,
And there’s a new born baby of which he wouldn’t sell.
He’s speaking off the home,
And what you can do there,
Perhaps a stranger you take in,
A cup of tea to share.
A home was opened up to him,
When serving up in Yorkshire,
His heart was moved he felt so good,
That Christ died on a cross of wood.
Our homes can be the greatest place,
To welcome people in,
To give them words of wisdom,
And tell them of their sin.
Then if they really listen,
Then they will realize,
The sins they have inside them,
And Jesus Christ is the prize.

You pray with them and then they find,
The Lord has entered in,
His spirit’s come upon them,
And taken all their sins.
You’ve done the work for God at home,
His plans have all gone well,
Who else is out there on the street,
That you can go and tell.
