Why is it people get all sad,
Over silly little things,
Like forget to put the washing out,
Or can’t find that lump of string,
There’re more important things in life,
For minds to stress upon.
The pressures of your daily life,
Of things that all go wrong,
Take time and rest your brain,
Just imagine you’re on a train,
Going fast along the tracks,
No slowing down at all.
Then all at once the signals change,
It feels like you could fall,
Your mind is slowing to a pace,
With changes the look upon your face,
It then comes into perspective,
Then life doesn’t seem so bad.
Try to think about what you had first planned,
Was it so important, did it all make sense,
To worry over little things,
It does seem kind of dense,
Relax and just be happy,
Slow down the pace a bit.
Things turn out how you want them,
As quietly you sit,
Then when you think things over,
And put things into line,
Then you can carry on your life,
And so you’re doing well.
