Why does emotion strike us,
In many different ways,
It turns our minds all upside down,
But stable it does stay.
To take another look within our inner self,
Lets chuck out all the grief and leave it on the shelf,
We worry when we shouldn’t how silly are we all,
If we settled down our minds we could be ten feet tall.
But God knows all about our minds,
He really sets the pace,
And we must always look to him,
Those in the human race.
So let us take our minds to realms up above,
And then above us is the peaceful dove,
And we arise up in the spirit,
Our hearts are full of fire.
But Jesus takes our problems,
And carries them on his back,
I often really wonder,
How big is Jesus’ sack.
He carries all our burdens,
And doesn’t moan at all,
He’ll take your load and hold you up,
So that you do not fall.
The mountain we have climbed,
And got right to the top,
So let’s keep praising God,
And do not ever stop.
