Saucy Sue was feeling blue,
Didn’t know what she could do,
Feeling bright and very frisky,
Thought she’d do something risky.
She went off down into the town,
To stop herself from being down,
What could she get up to who could she torment,
Someone in a field back there had put a tent.
She went across to have a look,
To find out who was there,
And as she did a boy came out,
Whose hair was very fair.
Here’s some fun said Saucy Sue,
This will stop me from being blue,
She poked out her tongue at this young lad,
It made him cry then he felt sad but sue it made her very glad.
Sue came back to the market,
To look at all the stalls,
There was a man who juggled,
And she played with his balls.
Further down a music stand,
Playing something rather grand,
She looked around the tapes and things,
To see if she could find some swing.
I’ve found one Sue said to the man,
It’s better than listening to the band,
In case I want to buy it can you play a piece for me,
And then if I like it I might buy it don’t you see.
This she started to enjoy,
She grabbed the hand of a little boy,
Lets dance and jive a bit,
Or else I’ll clout you with my mitt.
The man began to realize,
That Sue was having games,
He told her to go somewhere else,
Didn’t know what she could do,
Feeling bright and very frisky,
Thought she’d do something risky.
