John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Two thousand years ago Christ was born,
In a simple stable and a lowly stall,                                                                                                  There were no carpets no table at all,
Hay on the floor, a roughened door,
A cow and some bleating sheep,
Through this he would sleep,
Three wise men came bearing him gifts,
Frankincense, gold and myrrh,
Simple shepherds had followed a star,
They bowed before Jesus,
They’d come from afar,
The word spread quickly that Jesus was born.
