I’m listening to a preacher,
Who says he’s eighty three,
He really doesn’t look it,
He’s as sprightly as can be.
In Brazil he serves the Lord, Deep in Formosa we are told.
They’re going back on Saturday,
To serve out there again.
He preaches to the people,
In sunshine and in rain,
He took the word to Indians and seen a blessing there,
In Formosa he is busy going every where.
He has a wife who’s very sweet,
A pleasure she is just to meet,
She prayed in Spanish that’s alright,
He listens always day and night.
The language doesn’t bother him,
God just translates it at his will,
Give him blessings in Brazil,
May there be more conversions,
Lord has given him the words,
The deliverer in Formosa.
