John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

In my house I’ve got a mouse,
Who doesn’t really like me,
I’m frightened of this little thing,
From him I want to flee.

My legs a rise with great surprise,
I shiver in my boots,
And wish he’d go to some where else,
So I can get on with my food.

He’s only small and I’m so tall,
I could trample him so easy,
But then I couldn’t do it,
For it would make me queasy.

Now poison’s laid upon the floor,
To save me running to the door,
Then if he dies I think I’ll cry,
I’ve killed him dear oh Lord.
