John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This is the tale of Moaning Annie,
Who had an easy going granny,
thinking she could do as she liked,
Gran said go and pedal your bike.

What could she do to torment the old girl,
Something to put her mind in a whirl,
She crept up behind her and just made jump,
Granny fell back hit the floor with a bump.

That shouldn’t have happened,
Said Moaning Annie,
Nothing goes right,
With your dear granny.

She helped her up and moaned and groaned,
Then sat her in a chair,
Granny glared at Annie’s face,
Was she of the human race.

Annie wondered what to do,
She was fed up through and through,
I’ll make a cup of tea dear Gran,
By now she had another plan.

Tea poured out salt put in,
Annie went to her gran with a grin,
Here you are a nice cup of tea,
Made by moany little me.

Gran put the cup of tea to her mouth,
And took a sip or two,
She spat it out and gave a shout,
Ann what are you trying to do.

Oh I’m fed up said Moaning Annie,
Glaring at her dear old Granny,
I’m going off to wash my hair,
Everything seems so unfair.
