My granddaughter Leah is quite a case,
She makes her mother go on a chase,
Mum pulls her hair out Leah doesn’t care,
She’ll just look at Mum and say I done.
She learned to call me Grandma it really is a thrill,
To hear her tiny little voice overpowering Bill,
There’s a lot of laughter within my daughter’s house,
Cause Leah’s here and everywhere like a little dormouse.
But we wouldn’t be without her for anything at all,
Oh look out Mum here comes another ball,
And don’t get in her way when she’ all cross and mad,
Cause she’ll be showing off and you’ll see she’s the boss.
But only for a little while then Mum’s in full control,
You don’t do this you don’t do that,
And eat up all your roll,
Yet Leah looks at Mum and thinks I aint no fool.
But Leah is very loving in every kind of way,
Ask her Mum she’ll tell you about her happy day,
You get her ready to go out she’s vanished where’s she gone?
Leah’s waiting on the bottom stair singing a little song.
