John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Yet we’re having a wonderful time with them all,
A holiday in memory I will recall,
The laughter we’ve had and the things we’ve done,
We’ll be talking about them on the way home,
Of the laughter we’ve shared with the old folk was great,
It’s done us good, me and my mate.

David the driver loves the old folk,
There’s nothing he will not do,
He’ll give them a lift into the coach,
Then tries to tickle their toes,
So thank you Lord for folk such as these,
Who care for the old and the needy.

As each week that goes through,
They love what they do,
They certainly do not get greedy,
When they travel home,
With David the wheel,
They feel content within their minds.

We’re glad to have been a part of this,
And seen this special love,
What a happy week we’ve had,
It goes too quick and that is sad,
But next year we will come again,
Still on the coach and not on the train.
