John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

A friendship isn’t something that happens overnight,
It’s like a load of building bricks you’ve got to put them right,
You think that they are standing up and suddenly they fall,
It makes you feel you want to bang your head up a brick wall.

But then you both start once again,
To plan how the bricks must be,
And very slowly they take place,
The strength of friendship sets its pace.

Things start going smoothly,
The bricks stay where they are,
And friendship is a happy time,
Whether near or far apart.

Then suddenly some bricks they fall away,
So what went wrong they should have stayed,
Lets pick them up again and put them in their place,
And keep those bricks all steady and a smile upon our face.

Each friendship is different,
A bonded link is there,
There is a love between them,
That they can both share.

So both go forth together,
And keep the bricks built high,
And just love one another,
And stay with the spirit in the sky.
