My son’s got a puppy whose face looks so sad,
But now having got it I know he’s so glad,
His face is so solomn you’d think he’d been hurt,
His eyes are all sunken, on his paws are all dirt.
His body’s all brown, his paws are all white,
So when they go out they can see him at night,
He plays with the cat, a right game they have,
They roll over together into each other’s path.
But he’s really sweet, as sweet as can be,
Him and the cat are like the pod and the pea,
They’re always together whatever they do,
But they’re cuddly and fluffy and lovable too.
